This recipe is wonderful! My son wanted a chocolate cheesecake for his birthday instead of cake so I made this and it was a hit. The only tiny change I made was that I cooked the crust in the pan alone for 10 minutes before pouring the cheesecake mixture on top and baking the whole thing. I like the way this makes the crust taste and how it makes the crust hold together a little better and not get soggy at all.

Cutout Sugar Cookies

I have made this recipe more than once and my family loves it. It isn't exactly like a traditional sugar cookie but is very tasty. The cookies come out with a slight caramel flavor to them.

Apple Pie Muffins

I really wanted to try these muffins because they sounded so good but I was missing some ingredients so I had to changed it a bit to work with what I had. I used 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1/4 cup AP flour, applesauce instead of butter, 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar. I also doubled the baking soda to make them a little less dense. I also added a little cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to the batter and skipped the topping. The muffins were wonderful! Very good recipe!
