I grew up making stove top popcorn. It was always so exciting when mom would get out three paper bags to fill with popcorn. My four sisters and I would take turns being the one who held the bags open for her. While another was encharge of pillows, another had blankets another had kool aid and so on. Dad would open the back of the station wagon and we would all pile in. Off to the Drive-In Movies we went .A car full of five excited little girls and the yummy smell of popcorn. Drive-In Movies are almost a thing of the past but I think of that every time I make popcorn. With one of my daughters holding the bag and the other getting the blanktes and my husband putting the DVD in. Makeing Memories.
