My cooking triumphs
Selling my fruit tarts while in high school with one of my friends. She finances our operation and I put in the labor. We sold tarts and cakes every holiday.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 18 I made a pasta dish that called for red pepper flakes. Instead I used chile de arbol flakes. It was so spicy that my family refused to eat it. Except for my dad that ate it with tears rolling down his cheeks. I guess he didn't want to waste the food.
