First time I've ever made a pound cake. Made it for the boyfriend and he said it was gooood. He's a sugar cookie kind of guy so I guess this was right up his alley. Probaly gonna be makin this one again...if he stays outta the dog house. :) Just made it a second time and made some simple changes but it is soooo good. I elimanated a 1/2 cup white sugar and substituted brown sugar. I also added a half a package of vanilla pudding and added 3 tablespoons vanilla (i love vanilla!) Hope yours will turn out just as good as mine!!

My boyfriend loves theese... he requests them every time I bake. I also add in extra vanilla and 1 cup extra sugar. Who needs frosting with theese? Super good.

I think theese cookies are absolutlely yummy....I used half butter and half butter flavor crisco. I also added a 1/2 cup more nuts and 1 cup more white chocolate and if you want a chewey cookie add in one 3.4oz package vanilla instant pudding... I always add in pudding to my cookies... and you can vary the flavors...you can use white chocolate pudding, coconut pudding... very decadent. Also always roatate the cookie sheet in the oven 1/2 way through it makes the batch more evenly baked... good luck!
