I added some brown sugar to sweeten it just a bit to help round out the flavors.

I made these using the window pane pretzels, Dove peanut butter chocolates and added a salted peanut on top. Delectably addicting!

This was unique and flavorful. I made this for a Christmas dinner buffet and used cranberries instead of raisins. Toasted the walnuts before adding which enhanced the flavor. Very refreshing salad!

I used Diet Root Beer and it worked just fine without the caramelization on the sides of the slow cooker that other had complained about.

Easy to prepare but bland in flavor. I added some garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the biscuit batter. I wish that I would have added seasoning to the chicken/veggie part as well. I used light sour cream and reduced fat crm chik'n soup to make it a bit healthier.

Reminded me of my mom's meatloaf. I used oatmeal in place of shredded bread and added about 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Will be making this again.

So good! Made it exactly as written and it couldn't be easier. I threw in a small amount of sliced almonds with the walnuts because I had some to use up. My mother said it would be really good without the nuts as well.

Wonderful! First time making biscotti and the result was perfect! I didn't have pistachios so I substituted walnuts and also added 1 T orange zest. I was surprised at how sticky and thick the dough was but using cold water to wet your hands first worked well. After cutting and baking them for the second time, I drizzled on a glaze of melted white chocolate chips, a splash or orange juice, and more orange zest. Just wonderful!

A great change of pace from traditional white sugar and cinnamon applesauce. So easy to do it in the slow cooker! I cut up the apples the night before, cooked it on slow all night and it was ready for breakfast in the morning!

My family absolutely raved about these! I made the recipe exactly as listed with raisins but also added 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Half way through baking time, I sprinkled cinnamon /sugar on top. I'm looking forward to trying this with other variations. Thank you!

Perfect! Only thing I did differently was to add to chopped up Hershey milk chocolate.

Wonderful recipe! I made this in my bread machine twice today. Followed the recipe exactly. The first time I set the machine for a 2 pound loaf for a light crust (3 hours total). It was a bit under baked. The second time, I set it for a 1-1/2 pound loaf for a medium crust (3 hr, 10 min) and it was perfect. I've never liked how the bread from the machine comes out with a hole in the bottom so next time, I may process this in the machine then bake in a loaf pan in the oven. Definitely a keeper!

I would call this a muffin rather than a cupcake but it sure is good! I replaced the shortening with equal amount of applesauce and replace buttermilk with skim milk. Because the applesauce was sweetened, I reduced the sugar to 1 cup. The mixture seemed too wet to me so I added about 1/2 cup of oatmeal. I reduced baking temp to 350 degrees. Done in 25 minutes. Wonderful!

A bit too rich for me. I used mini marshmallows and chocolate chips to make them smore cookies. Kids liked them!

This had good flavor and I liked the variety of color to this salad. I added 1 seeded and diced cumcumber, substituted red onion for green onion and added a can of cannelini beans as well as the kidney beans. However, there was way too much mayo. Next time I will reduce the mayo by 1/2 cup.

What a great summer salad! It was time consuming to make but so worth it! I couldn't find orzo so I used another small pasta and it was fine. I found that the lime was very strong after making the salad so I added another tablespoon of oil (I used grapeseed oil) to mellow it out and added about 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. Perfect! Will be serving this with Spicy Lime-Cilantro Marinated Flank Steak from this site. Updated: THis was even better the next day. I cut up the left over steak that I served it with and mixed it into the salad and had it cold the next day and I liked it even more! Very fresh!
