World's Best Lasagna
I only made the sauce from this recipe (ran out of time!) and it's very YUMMY. I followed advice of others and used 1 teasp salt and 1 teasp sugar. Also, used stewed tomatoes instead of chopped. Definitely a keeper. I still plan to make the lasagna...

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV
these were good. i changed a few things: reduced the white sugar by 1/2 cup (plenty sweet still!); decreased white flour to 2C and increased oats to 2 1/2. also, smashed up the oats with my fingers first-someone had suggested this and that helps "bake" the oatmeal in. increased cinnamon and vanilla by 1/2 tea each. after sifting flour and spices together i mixed in the oats. after creaming butter / sugar, alternated egg/raisin mix and flour/oat mix to this. worked great & tastes great! next time i may try and reduce the butter a little and sub w applesauce--but just a little, still want them to be cookies.
