Oh.My.God. I used fresh pumpkin (it makes a world of difference). Positively the best pumpkin pie, hands down. I followed the recipe to a T, aside from using fresh pumpkin. Wow.

Okay, so I changed it up a bit, but still felt the need to review it. I doubled the recipe to make 2 deep dish pies. I made it with 1/2 pumpkin puree and 1/2 sweet potato puree. I also doubled the spices (plus a little bit extra), added 1 tsp. of vanilla, 1/2 tsp. cloves. Put into pre-made deep dish pie crusts. Cover edges with foil or they'll burn! Very good pie.

used frozen raspberries instead of b.b, & butter in place of oil (ran out). WONDERFUL!!
