Apple Brine for Turkey the Night Before Cooking

This was amazing! I used one of those turkey sized oven bags to brine mine overnight and then followed the recipe for Homestyle Turkey, the Michiganer way. Best turkey I've ever made.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

I combined this recipe with one that i found for turkey brine. After hosting thanksgiving at my house for the first time, my GRANDMOTHER asked me for the recipe!! That has never happened before! fantastic!

Apple Cheese Crisp

This was great- i doubled the recipe and my husband ate a whole pan himself! I baked it, though, rather than cooking it in the microwave.

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas

I doubled the chili peppers and added onions and peppers while cooking. I don't really understand the purpose of the tin foil, but I used it anyway. I'd try it again with more seasoning because even with my attempt to spice it up more, it could have used more flavor.

BREAKSTONE'S Chicken and Sour Cream Enchiladas

I though this recipe sounded a little bland, so I added chili peppers, lime, some diced tomatoes and a whole lot of cumin to the mix and it turned out pretty good!

Baked Spaghetti

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Prego® Sausage-Stuffed Green Peppers

Made this for overly critical in-laws and it's now a new favorite. They were impressed. I don't follow recipes well, though, I added ricotta cheese, and some diced tomatoes to the mix and it turned out really awesome! Thanks a ton!

Chicken and Dumplings III

amazing! i've been trying to perfect the dumpling for years- who would have thought the answer would lie in a can of biscuits?!?! i called my mother right away- she scoffed about preservatives until i made her try it.
