This was the best pot roast I have ever had. It was just me and my hubby so I had a 2.5 lb roast. I used 1 can cream of mushroom, 1/2 can beef broth, 1 packet onion soup mix. I put it in the slow cooker before work. I did not sear it first since I didn't have time. I cooked it about 9 hours on low. I added some cornstarch to the gravy to thicken it and served with mashed potatoes.
