My name is Brittany, and I'm currently in college (still living at home though)! Every once in a while I think of changing my major and becomming a chef...but that hasn't happened yet. I'm the only one in the house who does any REAL cooking and everyone has different tastes, so it's not always easy to find the right recipes for myself AND them, but I do an okay job. Usually I just make my food seperately, so it's not that bad. I don't have many of my OWN recipes, just things I steal from here and tweak to my liking. That's about it.
My favorite things to cook
I like to make stir-fry a lot because it is really quick and easy, and tastes great every time. I also like to dabble in the thai cuisine along with my love of all things Asian. I'll make pretty much anythings if I think my family will enjoy it. I'm just a people pleaser...O.-"
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't have many family cooking traditions...but I do love my great grandma's Hawaiian wedding cake. I'd love to start my own tradtions some day!
My cooking triumphs
I don't think I've had any real triumphs...but hearing what I make tastes good is nice to hear.
My cooking tragedies
My most recent tragedy was an omelete I had just finished...beautiful, aromatically salivating......and I put it on the plate and the plate exploded. And that was the rest of my ingredients. I wanted it so much...but with bits of glass everywhere, well you can imagine what would happen if I ate it. The end.
