I made these brownies as a present for my sister in law last christmas. It was a success!! she tried them and was very happy and pleased because they were very easy to make. I made a tag to go along with the jar with the instruccions and the whole recipe in case she wanted to make them again. I changed two things though: instead of using 2 1/4 cup sugar, I put 1 1/2 cup of white sugar and added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and it still worked fine. Great recipe!

I made this cake last weekend for my birthday, it was a success!!!! everybody love it! I had a problem though: I didn't expect the dough to be kind of "liquid", so it spilled a bit out of the pan when cooking (as I expected when I saw the density of it) but I didn't want to add extra flour. I think the eggs I used were a little bit larger than those in the recipe. But as I said the cake is great! so dark, moist and not too sweet. From now on I'll have it as my favorite chocolate cake recipe. Thanks for sharing!
