I am a stay at home mom of 4y/o twin girls. I love to bake and am always giving our elderly neighbors yummy foods to try, I love to bake but am getting more into basic cooking everyday. I have very picky eaters so I am always trying to find foods that they like, but I also want my husband and I to like them as well. anything sweet and baked. I love desserts and am trying to master the candy making challenge When I was little at CHristmas my family would make cookies together on Christmas eve. Now that my extended family has moved away and I have kids I wanted to start the tradition again. So once or twice a year I rent a girl scout camp kitchen and a bunch of women from my local mops group bake cookies al day with our kids. It is the best tradition we have and I hope my kids have fond memories or it when they get older. When I first got married and was just starting to cook I made a slow cooker meatloaf and forgot the lid and the bacon. When we got home it was so hard. My loving husband tried to cut and eat it. It was impossible and we laugh about it to this day
