Brown Sugar Smokies
Delish!! I made this for a candle party I recently had over the weekend and this was the first thing to go. I did like some of the other people and prepared it the nite before, and I brown sugared the bacon and smokies and wrapped them up and placed in a bowl over nite and covered with saran wrap. In the morning the brownsugar turned into a glaze. I used a cookie sheet and put foil over it and sprayed with Pam. Then I placed the smokes wrapped in bacon on the cookie sheet. I then poured about 2 table spoons of honey in the mixture and stirred it. Then I got a brush and I generously applied the mixture over the smokies. I baked on 350degrees for about 3-40mins until the bacon became crisp. I used toothips to serve. It was easier. This was so yummy. Thanks for the recipe

Chocolate Caramel Nut Cake
First off I have to start off by saying. I don't like chocalate or cake. I know I'm weird. But, my friends birthday is today and he mentioned every year his mother makes him Chocolate Caramel cake. His parents are out of town, so yesterday I thought I would try and make it. This is my first cake so I was nervous, but I read the reviews and tried it. I made a test cake last night. My Mother was my guinea pig and she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. I couldnt find caramel, so I used 1 jar of caramel topping (I should have used 2) and I used 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate and a few pecan turtles (chopped)from Sees Candies (he loves those). And I sprinkles chopped pecans on top. Well I make his cake after work today, I hope he likes it :)
