Absolutely amazing recipe! I made it at least three times now for my boyfriend and for company. Everyone loves this soup! You can do no wrong with this. The only thing I do differently to thicken the soup is I fry the potato and onion in the sauce pan I'm going to use for the soup. This way some potato starch come off the potato and makes the soup even thicker and creamier. I followed this recipe exactly and love it!

This was delicious! My boyfriend who is actually from Northern Italy loved it. I did a few things different to suit our taste but overall followed the recipe. I used ground turkey and did not have liver or cream. I was afraid it might be too dry so I added 2/3 cup of homemade tomato sauce instead of tomato paste. Sooo yummy!Thank you for sharing the recipe~
