Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Love it love it love it. I was skeptical when it came out of the oven. And then I was shocked that I made it.. it tasted THAT good. Make it tonight. I don't even like cottage cheese--AT ALL. And I loved this. Will make again, for the inlaws!

Rice with Goodies

Maybe this is good if you add just the right ingredients. I decided to "make it my own" like encouraged on the recipe. I didn't really like it. Hardly had any flavor. I added extra soy sauce and a ton of teryaki. still. not that good. Maybe if you're an exceptional cook-it'd turn out great. It looked like I poured the fridge into the skillet.

Monkey Bread I

Wonderful. Took the advice on the bundt pan.. however, the sugar mixture burnt a bit. I will make an additional half of the mixture to pour over the monkey bread when done. Husband thought it needed to be gooey-er. and it did.

It took more than 3 hours to thicken. It tasted good. I might have whipped the cream too long. Was very frothy.. It didn't wow me or my husband..

great recipe. Directions were a little unclear. Definitely add the water that's with the potatoes to the soup. Needed to cook onions longer, and add more garlic.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Let me put it this way. We made 2 of these, so 2 pies. 4 slices went to the rest of the family, and my husband ate the remainders. We're making it again! It's so so good. Original recipe works great. No tweaking needed, unless you're a tweaker.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

This was so good. We made it for thanksgiving, and as I tried some, I looked around the room, wondering if everyones' tastebuds were having a party in their mouth. It was so quiet at our thanksgiving, because everyone was eating. Will make again and again. We didn't have a glass pan, so we used a skillet and stuck it in the oven. Amazing taste, and it turned out great.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Made it twice. IT ROCKS. I made it originally for my neighbors. They don't like pumpkin pie, and they said this was the best, moist-est, yummiest pumpkin cheesecake they've ever had. They raved about it so much that I ended up a little embarrassed and my husband was angry that I didn't make him any. Thus, I have now made this twice. Be sure to have milk on hand.. this is rich stuff. :) will make again.

Mongolian Beef I

This was difficult for me to make. I don't consider myself an expert at cooking, but I do think I have some amount of skill. The beef was tough and the flavors weren't that impressive. I think I could have made it better, but the steps were confusing and didn't work well. I ended up burning the sesame seeds, and the beef wasn't able to totally cook. It burned too quickly. I used the heat setting recommended. If you want to make this, at least lower the heat and have all the ingredients ready to hop in the pan. fyi, I used a wok.

Holiday ONLY Mashed Potatoes

tastes like sticky mashed potatoes.. I'm sure I could have fixed the stickiness, but the flavor was really bland.. not rich or impressive.. just white mashed potatoes. Husband wasn't a fan. "Next time, can I just make the mashed potatoes?"-his exact words.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

I've made this twice. I'd recommend giving the meat ample time to mix with all the flavors, and not letting the beef form into large chunks. Smaller chunks absorb all the flavors better. My husband said that he normally isn't a huge fan of PF Chang's lettuce wraps (crazy-huh)--but he said these were wonderful/better than PF Changs.

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

I like a sweeter taste. I'm thinking about soaking blueberries in sugar water before mixing them in. Great recipe, easy to make. Doesn't need to be set aside for an hour. Family LOVED it.
