I have had a very eventful life, worked 10 years with delinquent kids, then off to Africa where I served as an evangelical missionary. Back to the States where we ran a food ministry for 15 years! Now my life is pretty uneventful - just working and fixing up our little retirement home. Kids all grown up and one adult grandchild and another little one! I just subscribed to this site a couple of months ago and am enjoying it immensely as I 'rediscover' cooking for just my hubby and I. Thank you so much to all of you who take the time to submit and review recipes. I'm lovin' it! Due to feeding anywhere from 16 on up for years and years, I've always loved the 'fast' plentiful recipes. Now I am enjoying lots of Mexican foods and just trying out things I see on this site. FUN! Not too many traditions due to living in a foreign country and living on a Boys/Girls Treatment Center for years. The ONLY recipe passed down in our family is Chocolate Popcorn - go figure! I'm laughing here. A bunch!
