This is almost identical to the recipe my mother has used for 30+ years. The only difference is that we always use McIntosh apples because they are much softer and have more sweetness to them. They are a little bit smaller, so we use about 8. Other than that, this recipe is top notch!!

My husband and I love this excellent recipe. Like most people, I did make a few changes. I omitted the honey and molasses. I also cooked and cubed the chicken, but I did not boil it with the other ingredients. I simply spread the sauce on the pizza crust, then added the rest. I use the Italian 5 cheese instead of the Gouda. The best way to make any pizza is to use the "Jay's Signature Pizza Crust" from these recipes as well. Try and enjoy!
