Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
The cake tasted very good and chocolate-y, but I cut down on the sugar, 1/2 cup white and 3/4 cup brown sugar (not packed into cup just scooped). I recommend mixing the cocoa powder and brown sugar with the hot water first, then add to top of batter. The cocoa layer on top did not dissolve into the cake during baking, so it left many clumps on top. It was not visually appealing for a b-day party.

Turkey Soup with Slickers
I've never made turkey soup until today. Usually, I pull off all the meat from the carcass to make turkey sandwiches. Today, I felt like making a hearty soup, so everything went in the crock pot and it came out perfect. The only changes were that I doubled the amount of dill, parsley and poultry seasoning. Also made mini dumplings from bisquick.

Chinese Shrimp and Tofu Soup
I followed the recipe, then added canned baby corn for extra crunch (cut into chunks)chopped scallions and cilantro. I would have included sliced water chestnuts as well, but didn't have any on hand. Also added a few dashes of chili-sesame oil and very little white pepper for a kick. The original recipe was slightly bland for my taste, but with the additions the soup turned out pretty good!
