I've always been not very adventuresome in my cooking until recently. Maybe it's because the kids are all grown and out of the house. I have time now to mess around in the kitchen with no pressure. LOL I like to cook Italian and French. I'm not much into baking, as I haven't the patience for it. I love to do comfort food. Christmas and Thanksgiving are the big days for great food in our house. Not much cooking to it, but I make a great pate for Christmas or special occasions. At least that's what my family tells me and it always disappears pretty quickly. My first attempt at fancy pastry. Sticking to the countertop,the rolling pin and me. What a mess!
