Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
WOW I was really surprised that this turned out so good. I am known for drying out any meat I cook. I've even tried doing chicken like this before years ago, not sure what was different this time but obviously something, not sure if it was the low temp??? Or perhaps the overnight soaking...anyway this was definately a keeper and we'll be a weekly menu item!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
This tasted very good. I had one person say it was a little too sweet, but I didn't think it was too rich. I only give it 4 stars because the topping came out very hard/crunchy almost like a cookie and it was hard to cut through

Spinach Dip I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
This was the first time I had made spinach dip and this turned out very yummy! I actually liked the dip before putting in the spinach also. I thought the veggie soup mix gave it a lot of flavor. I wish I had noticed though that my spinach was not prechopped...

This was a great waffle recipe. I even added a little wheat germ and they came out terrific, very crispy yet light on the inside.

No Bake Cookies IV

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
These are great no bake cookies!!! I have always only made the ones with cocoa,etc.....but I had extra marshmallows and oats to get rid of so did the ingredient search and came up with this! This is much better than the other no bake cookie I normally make!! Will only make this one from now on!! Gee I'll even go buy the marshmallows if I have too! I did replace the chocolate chips with almond bark I had on hand and instead of the coconut I added 1/2 cup more oatmeal. This set up perfectly in the fridge after 20 minutes! Believe it or not the other no bake cookies I make are always hit and miss and sometimes don't set up :( So definately keeping this recipe instead!!!! YUM THANKS!

Chili Dog Casserole II

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
We do not care for boiled hot dogs much so I thought I'd give this a try. Darn it, they tasted more like boiled hotdogs, but it was still a different unique dish worth trying once..The oven temp was way to hot I thought..

Banana Pancakes I

These turned out very mushy.....I had to nuke them in the microwave so they could cook the rest of the way without burning, and once I did that they tasted pretty good.

Cornbread Muffins I

These were very good but for some reason they got a little too well done on the outside before the inside was done, I don't normally have this problem so not quite sure why?

Cornmeal Cookies I

I thought these had a weird taste to them. Definately do not bake them to thick they end up tasting very dry. They were better as a thinner crisper cookie.

Snow Peak Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2006
Made this last night for some sugar cookies.....this is a very light fluffy frosting, so for iced cookies not so good if you want the icing to harden a little bit. We LOVED this frosting though! I thought is was just sweet enough and I have a very big sweet tooth, not near as sweet though as the icing on bakery cakes that everyone always seem to eat around. It almost reminded me of twinkie filling but a tad thicker, and kind of had a marshmallow taste to it. It does make a lot! My husband just had some on strawberries this morning...YUM!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2005
This recipe was pretty good, I will probably make it on accasion when I want something different besides my normal meatloaf. I definately think this was just a little too sweet, will try and cut back on the sugar next time. My kids ages 7 and 6 to my surprise did not care for it.

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2005
This is one of the better recipes I've tried,(though my favorite was in the kid's section of my Quick Cooking magazine, I lost it quite a few months ago, can't even find it in the archives) It made one pizza stone sized pizza, and another about half the size of the pizza stone, I wish it had made a little more dough though.

Baked Potato Salad I

This was an absolutly hassle free side dish that tasted delicious to boot!!! I added the bacon bits you can get in the salad dressing isle of you grocer. I thought the mayo might be too much, but it had an awesome taste! Thanks so much!
