About this Cook
I love to cook and especially love cooking for my friends and family. I love to host dinner parties. I love to bake but I wish I was better at cake decorating! I'm still trying to create the "perfect" frosting.
My favorite things to cook
beef tenderloin, turkey dinner with the all the fixings, cookies, breads and cakes. I love to make comfort foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey dinner, mashed potatoes and stuffing. We make it all the time not just the holidays. It's a great meal to fix in the winter while watching football. GO PATS!!!!!
My cooking triumphs
My beef tenderloin on the first try was awesome and everyone raved about it!!!
My cooking tragedies
Oh God too many to count! Well one of the worst was one Easter I was cooking all day the day before. I make most everything from scratch so it was a long day. At the last minute I made my Dad's favorite carrot cake. At midnight I pulled it out of the oven lost my grip and it hit the floor, and was everywhere!! It hit so hard it hit the ceiling. The worst was the song "You had a bad day" was playing in the backround / My husband and I just busted out laughing

Crown Roast of Pork with Sausage Stuffing
Absolutely Amazing!! Just sat down after everyone left and had to write a review. Thank you first of all foe the recipe. I made an 18 rib roast, cooked it for 1 1/2 hours then stuffed it and covered the stuffing as directed. I cooked it for 1 hour and then removed it from the pan and placed it on a cutting board wrapped in tinfoil for about 20-25 mins. I then poured the broth and vermouth reduction into the roasting pan and put the bacon and flour in it. I poured it through a strainer to prevent lumps. The roast was so moist aand the gravy was delicious. I did not use chestnuts in the stuffing not a big fan. The stuffing was delicious. Moist and flavorful!! Thanks again.
