About this Cook
I am a photographer and married to a wonderful man who tries everything I make for dinner, even likes most of it. I dont have any children but i do have three mischevious ferrets. I love hot and spicy foods and like to try new recipes all the time
My favorite things to cook
things with phyllo dough... especially baklava i could eat it every day!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am proud to say i am in charge of the pies for the family thanksgiving and christmas get togethers. everyone loves the pecan pie especially. I have come a long way since the days of mac and cheese(the only thing i would make for years)
My cooking triumphs
I made bread and it came out good!! I am actualy referred to as a good cook by my husband and his friends!
My cooking tragedies
my husband hates cilantro and i found out when i made him steaks with cilantro and sesame seeds. He said cilantro tastes like kitchen clenser:( I also attempted a panetoni and the middle dropped and it turned out hollow, i have to try again and get it right!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
This is awesome, and a great way to get rid of all that zucchini from the garden. I made this twice already and it was super. the second time i made it with one cup white sugar and one cup of brown sugar and that was great too!
