About this Cook
I'm 23 and currently in the Air Force stationed in Florida.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook authentic Mexican but anything ethnic is fine by me!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom goes all out on any holiday and cooks all sorts of theme foods. It was always really fun to help out for days in the kitchen making her ideas come to the plate.
My cooking triumphs
I hosted Thanksgiving at my house last year with 10 people and nailed the turkey. It was perfect and a great night.
My cooking tragedies
When i first started cooking I tried to make these southwest style mini meatloaf patties. Well I made them entirely too thick so they were raw in the middle and charred on the outside because i also had the heat on too high. I had the smoke detectors go off and had to answer the door to my date amid all the confusion. Needless to say we went out. It was awful and beyond embarassing.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi
I couldn't find any fresh mahi mahi in my area so I used tilapia instead and this was absolutely delicious. My husband raved about it for two days! This glaze will become a family favorite, by far my favorite way to serve fish now. Thank you for the awesome recipe.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have
These meatballs are definitely delicious. I have been asked for the recipe multiple times and my husband wont eat spaghetti without them anymore. I did change a few things though. I left out the mustard as I don't care for it and used Italian bread crumbs instead of crushed croutons because that's what I had on-hand. I also followed the advice of fellow reviewers and baked them in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Way easier than the stove I would just recommend lining your pan with foil for easier cleanup. Thanks for a great recipe the flavor is amazing.

Grilled Salmon with Habanero-Lime Butter
My husband loves salmon and he says this is the best way he has ever had it prepared. He even prefers it to the salmon we order in most restaurants! This is a standby in our house. Thanks for the amazing recipe.
