Well lets see, I am a mother of 5 beautiful children. They range in age from 9 down to 2... my 9 yo and 7 yos live with their grandmother, and my 6, 4, and 2 yos live with my fiance and myself... I am 30yo and have been cooking since I was 10 yo. I feel like I spend my whole day cooking...lol and I love it! (just not the clean-up, but who does right...lol) I cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then another dinner for my fiance when he gets off work at midnight...( I usually just do leftover from that nights dinner, and add to it to make it even more yummy)
My favorite things to cook
Homemade mac and cheese, Pancakes, chicken salad, egg salad, and my all time favorite Lasaugna.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook breakfast every morning before my boys (the 6 and 4 yos) go off to kindergarten and headstart, however on Sunday mornings, I cook a huge breakfast.. My mother did this for us when we were kids and I love the fact that as a mother I can now do this for my own family.
My cooking triumphs
My childrens Birthday cakes
My cooking tragedies
I made my 6 yo a pirate cake for his last birthday and for some reason the second layer crumbled when i was transfering it to the wire rack to cool. I peiced the layer together and was able to still make what my son said was a pretty awesome cake...=)
