this is what i did...don't follow this recipe. boil fetticini and in last 5 min. add cut up brocolli to water. in saute pan saute cut up chicken breast in evoo and butter, s&p and basil. drain pan and put chicken to the side. in same pan add more evoo and butter, saute yellow squash, zuccini and mushrooms (or whatever you have), add garlic s&p and basil. after vegies are cooked mostly add a can of fire roasted tomatoes diced, some heavy cream and as much jar sauce as needed to get the right consistancy. heat thru, add fetticini and brocolli to the pan to mix all together. very good! 10/09

German Apple Cake I

i made this in a 9 x 13 and followed recipe exactly accept i added an extra cup of apples. it tasted great but by the second day was more like apple mush than apple cake. don't know what went wrong but i wouldn't make this again unless i was eating it that same day.

Easy Baked Tilapia

8/09 very good, i melted the butter first and poured it over the fish, old bay, lemmon pepper, parsley garlic powder and fresh lemon slices. used fresh zuccini. larry thought it was too salty and too buttery.

very good however: i used almonds already toasted form bj's, more than it says to. more nutmeg than a pinch, some parm. cheese. good if i have basil to use up. good over whole wheat spagetti, even matthew liked it (i didn't tell him what was in it) 7/09

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

didn't have sausage,next time can try it. basic recipe: saute garlic,and onion in evoo..add veg, cook, add can diced tom w/herbs.and 2 bouillon cubes. also add a bunch of fresh basil leaves, maybe a little cooking water from the whole wheat linguini pot. very tasty.7/09

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

see note section. 5/09. homey and good. i used cheddar not swiss, cream of celery because i didn't have chicken and it was fine, milk not wine as some suggested. didn't add brocolli frozen but should have. and used garlic salt and lemon pepper too. alittle extra water over stuffing to keep moist. everyone liked it but said the recipe with the ritz crackers was better.

Spaghetti Pie III

4/30/09 everyone loved it. i mixed the sour cream with the cream cheese and then mixed with spagetti. w/ ground beef i added a little green pepper, onion and garlic. top with both mozz and cheddar and cheddar was voted better so next time just use the cheddar on top. thin spag. good.
