Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
I must admit, I shy away from cooking bacon for breakfast for my family soley due to the mess it makes. If we are tring to get out of the house for our daily activities it just seems a chore. I tried cooking the bacon in the oven and I will never cook it on the stove again. I lined a cookie sheet with 2 layers of foil, and it turned out excellent. After the bacon grease hardend a little, I rolled up the foil and threw it away! No greasy stove either, hooray, my family can eat bacon again! Also I did use thick cut bacon.

London Broil for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
Sorry guys, but this one wasn't for me! I am a big fan of pot roast, beef stew, and other braised meats, but I did not enjoy this at all! Although the meat was fairly tender, I did not like the taste at all, will not make again!! Maybe if you seared the meat first, still don't think it would make that much of a difference! Sorry!

Corned Beef Hash

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
This was a easy great way to make hash, only I added a few tbls. of worcestshire sauce, cider vinager & garic powder. I like my hash to have a crust on it so after it was cooked I put it under the broiler for few min. and it browned right up. Sometime simple is better, Thanks!

This marinade was excellent, I will keep it on hand and use on all cuts of meat including chicken and pork. I think it will come in handy this summer cooking on the grill! Thanks!

THEY WERE A BIG HIT. EVERYONE ASKED ME FOR THE RECIPE BUT I WAS HESITANT BECAUSE THIS WILL BE MY NEW SIGNITURE DISH TO BRING TO FAMILY PARTYS! THEY HAVE TO FIND THERE OWN! ONLY KIDDING! THEY WERE GREAT AND FAIRLY EASY TO MAKE. I MADE THE BACON A FEW DAYS AHEAD SO IT WAS READY WHEN I WANTED TO MAKE THEM, THE REST WAS SIMPLE AND IT INCLUDES INGREDIENTS YOU HAVE ON HAND.
