About this Cook
I'm a new bride as of Jun. 1st, 2008. I've got some recipes from both moms, but am trying to venture out on my own. I have a BAS in Conservation Biology and my husband in into computer networking and network security. We're in our mid 2o's and love to get out an have fun, but also stay home where it's quiet and peaceful.
My favorite things to cook
There's not much so far. I have a good Hominy recipe and 2 diff meatloaf recipes that I like, oh and chex mix, mmmm.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite cooking traditions have to be Chrismas cookies. My mom and sister and I bake a bunch of different cookies all tgrough December and are lucky if they get past the boys to be eaten the next day.
My cooking tragedies
I can't make porkchops turn out the same way twice, and I'm not good with timeing yet, we usually eat dinner in courses.

Shepherd's Pie VI
I made this recipe for my husband and my parents and the cassarole dish was licked clean. My only suggestion is more veggies like peas or corn and I left the carrots bite sized rather then mashing them. Very good.
