Was easier than I expected to be. Had my husband help- he whisked the yolk mixture and I added the melted butter. It started to get too thick, so I added a bit of the hot water from the pot that was waiting for poached eggs. I halved the recipe, but didn't measure the lemon juice, so overall it ended up being too lemony, though still delicious. I definitely plan to use again. Helpful tip: put the sauce in a thermos while you cook the eggs, this will keep it warm and it won't break! (per Alton Brown)

I thought it was very delicious. The cheese was a bit stringy, but overall everything went together wonderfully. I upped the cream to a 1/2 cup, but otherwise pretty much followed the recipe. My husband wasn't big on the gnocchi, so I plan to try again with linguine instead.

I don't know if it was the recipe or because I baked the bread per instructions in the bread machine. It was disgusting. If I ever attempted to make this again, I would definitely choose to take it out of the machine after the dough cycle and bake it manually in my oven.
