I grew up in Southern California but moved to Newport, RI in Nov of 07. This place is more than I could have hoped for. I live with my boyfriend, Ron.He is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever seen.
My favorite things to cook
I like making holiday foods. Besides the traditional turkey/ham, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, I like spicing things up and tend to experiment with flavors, herbs and spices. (whether it is for better or worse) I love decorating cookies and cupcakes, especially for a season or holiday.
My cooking tragedies
if you decide you want to marinade any type of meat, poultry, or fish, be cautious about how much salt you rub in! Especially beware of seasonings and soy sauce. lol
