From The Blog:  My Husband's a Picky Eater!
About this Cook
I'm a happily married, 44 yr old mother of one adult son, age 21 and step-mom of one adult son and daughter, ages 20 and 25.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook for my husband.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really have any fave family cooking traditions. No one in my family was really as much a cooker as me except for my grandmother and she passed away before I graduated high school.
My cooking triumphs
My husband shared with me that his ex used to fix this awesome Chicken Fried Steak w/Gravy meal, but he hadn't had it since. I would not be outdone by an ex! Now he says mine is even better! AND I've recently successfully found his favorite spaghetti sauce - MINE!
My cooking tragedies
Ah jeepers! I put green olives with the pimentos in a spaghetti sauce once. I'll NEVER do that again!

A Very Popular BBQ Sauce
Good BBQ sauce; will use less brown sugar next time as it seemed a little too sweet; substituted apple cider vinegar for the red wine vinegar only because I only had the apple cider vinegar.

Chicken Gravy
I made this gravy tonight for my husband and he loved it! It was perfect! I took the advice of using milk instead of water and that made a difference.
