Potato and Bacon Salad
Great staring recipe! I Omitted celery because my father won't eat it. Used red peppers and red onion. Also left skins on red potatoes. Also I don't know who the people who measured this recipe were feeding but I used 5 lbs of potatoes ad that barely was enough for a BBQ for 10 people. Maybe I just make an amazing potatoe salad but if you plan on really feeded 8 people I would double it!

Aunt Bev's Famous Apple Pie
great Recipe! I did make a few changes 1) because I was pressed for time 2) because some of it is just how I remember my grandmother doing it. I was very young the last time I saw my grandma make a pie but this gave methe basics I needed to try my own. So changes..I used 3/4c white sugar 1/4 brown. I added a TINY bit of cloves and just eyed and tasted for cinnamon n nutmeg. Change 2 I used refridg crust (no time) change 3 I added about a half cup of raisins to the bottom of the pie. they soak up the juice that tends to make the bottom crust mushy and gooy. They plump up with all those yummy juices and add a little something. Also unlike a lot of people I didnt use any butter. But it was very sweet and yummy. Thanks for the great starter!!! I have now added pies to my list of baking

Extreme Chocolate Cake
This cake is excellent. I can't even try new recipes because every time I need to make a cake this gets requested! I have never had a problem with this cake. My only change was to the frosting. Because the cake is so sweet I usually cut back on the confectionary sugar in the icing. As it is written it was too sweet for my taste.I like a more bitter chocolate so I went ith about 3 1/2 ups sugar. Just a suggestion. WONDERFUL CAKE!!!!
