This has been one of my favorite drinks for a few years. One way to make this even better and cut back on ingredients is to buy pineapple orange juice. Do 1 part coconut rum to 2 parts pineapple orange with a dash of grenadine.

Pumpkin Cake III

This was delicious! It was very moist and the Cream Cheese Frosting II from this side finished it perfectly. If you like your pumpkin cake a little "spicier", add 1/2 tsp of nutmeg and cloves in addition to the cinnamon.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

I've made this twice now and my kids ate it after the few changes I made. The major one was to put all the sauce ingredients into the blender with a little bit of milk so there weren't any cottage cheese "chunks". I also used some crushed caeser croutons for the topping instead of plain bread. The last thing I'd recommend if making this for kids is to use half sharp cheddar and half american for a milder flavor.

Clark's Quiche

I made this for a family brunch and it was really good. I made one with the crust and one without (for low carb option). I also didn't cook the spinach as other reviewers suggested. It wasn't necessary since it gets baked.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

My husband loved this! The only thing I did differently was to mix the brown sugar and ketchup to put on top of the loaf before baking. Doing it the way it said in the recipe would have made an awful mess.

Man-Lovin' Potatoes

These are some of the best potatoes I ever tasted! The only thing I change was adding 1 cup of sour cream instead of only a half and crumbling the bacon over the top instead of mixing in. I made this for a Sunday barbeque and there was nothing left of it!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This recipe is so much better than the one on the cornmeal container! This is how real cornbread is supposed to taste. I made mine into muffins and it worked great (easier to serve).

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

These were awesome! I used chicken breast tenderloins instead of wing sections and it worked wonderful. We made buffalo chicken wraps with them. One word of advice...use Frank's hot sauce, it's by far the best we've tried.

Peanut Butter Bars I

These are SO much better than even Reese's! One reviewer mentioned processing the graham crackers in a blender or food processor. This made all the difference since doing this gave the peanut butter filling that smooth texture. This is such an easy recipe and was a hit with my family!

Cookies and Cream Fudge

I rated this based on the original recipe, which was good but way too sweet. I reduced the sugar to 2 cups and it turned out great. It literally tasted like the ice cream.

White Chocolate Cream Cake

I'll admit, this was a decent white cake but not worth all the extra work that went into it. I honestly could not tell the difference between this and a regular white cake other than it was far too sweet.

Banana Crumb Muffins

I'm rating this recipe based on the first time I made these, following the recipe exactly. The muffin itself was amazing! But, the crumb topping was not my favorite. I ended up using the crumb topping from the "To Die For Blueberry Muffins" on this site. This made these the perfect banana muffins.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

I love ginger snap cookies so I was excited to try these. One plus for these, no butter. With all of my holiday baking, I've spent what feels like a small fortune on butter. These made the house smell delicious and tasted even better. They remind of the ones my babysitter made for us as kids.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These are really good, I always make things according to the recipe at least the first time so I can give an accurate review. The only thing I changed with my second batch was to have the liquid (oil, egg, and milk) level at 1 1/4 cups rather than only 1 cup. It made the batter a little easier to work with without compromising the recipe.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

We used this recipe when making our turkey for Thanksgiving this year and I have to say, best turkey I've ever tasted! I'm usually a dark meat person because white meat tends to be dry. Even then I usually have to drown it in gravy. Not the case with this turkey. I did follow the recipe and didn't change anything.

Chocolate Cookie Buttercream Frosting

So much better than store bought! I did have to add 1 Tbsp. more of milk but other than that I didn't change it for the chocolate. It made for excellent black tinted frosting for Halloween sugar cookies. For regular vanilla buttercream I left out the cocoa and added 1 tsp. more of vanilla extract. For this one I didn't have to add any extra milk.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This is by far the best tasting sugar cookie dough I've ever made. I didn't change anything with the recipe but I will say this, use REAL butter. Substitutes will not work as well. I had no trouble working with the dough.
