Bought new birdhouses, aren't they pretty.  Anyway, I just wanted to tell any bakers of cookies that these cookie scoops are great.  They are kind of like ice cream scoops with the release mechanism.  All the cookies are uniform and cook evenly.  I love it.  I will share my new peeler find next.

I use a cookie scoop, and I found mine at Target. Sometimes you can also find a mini cookie scoop to make a slightly smaller cookie. I wouldn't make cookies without the scoop, it makes it much easier and no mess. Since my ice cream scoop broke, I use my cookie scoop for my ice cream too.

Perhaps because of the holidays the stores were selling out of cookie scoops?

I use my cookie scoop (from Target) for everything! it works great for meatballs, meringues, even topping crackers with spread.
