Mulligatawny Soup I
This is a keeper! I tried to stick to the recipe, which would be great, but did kick it up to suit our family's taste. I doubled it. I added a tsp of minced garlic, and doubled the curry. I used half n half. I didn't add the salt and used a low sodium better than bouillon chicken stock with water. I loved it like this and tried it with non-fat yogurt on top and like that equally well! Next time I will try using olive oil and skip the flour and use 2% milk to see if it makes a difference in taste. I think it will still be good made healthier.

Cabbage Sloppy Joes
The cabbage/veggies is excellent! I followed the recipe 1st time but adjusted since. It was too sweet! So no sugar! Added a splash or two of chili powder 2nd time and canjun seasoning the third. Both times were good. I also left out lemon juice but upped the mustard a little. The kids liked it with some shredded cheddar, hubby and I like it with some coleslaw on top. (Carolina style) Now its the way we like it. The cabbage makes it a healthier and tastier alternative.

Cranberry Swirl Coffee Cake
This cake was great! I followed the recipe, except I added 1/2 cup chopped pecans in a bundt cake pan, then filled as directed. Then I omited the powdered sugar topping. It was so moist and delicious! A new favortie! Thanks!
