Kentucky Bourbon Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
Thank you for a simple yet wonderful receipe. My husband grew up in KY and now I live here. It's all most a sin not to make these for the holidays. So I set out to find one that even I could make and I DID IT!!!! Even the older folks were impressed...some asked for more Bourbon...lol. Thanks again!!!!

Luscious Chicken Pot Pie

I first made the recipe to the letter and that's why I'm giving this 1 star. It was very bland...sorry. I see that others are giving this recipe 4 and 5 stars but with many changes...this does change the outcome and is not a true rating.

I made a few changes....first I added onion and garlic. Used a leftover hambone in the stock and cook it for an hour before adding collard greens and beans....fantastic!!!!

Pollo Bella

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2008
After reading the recipe I made a few changes. First, I fried a couple pieces of bacon then removed them and sauted some onion in the fat....this add more flavor. Cut back on the cheese and added some nice white wine at the end. As for the pasta...try adding a tsp of dried Italian seaoning to the water when it is boiling. IT'S Great!!!
