I have some college, worked in many types of offices. Now retired & loving it. Six kids, 24 grandkids & 3 greats. Traveled all 50 states. Favorites HI & AK. Love horses, reading, cardmaking, TV Reality shows & church. Teach cardmaking. Spent $Ks on tools for cards.
My favorite things to cook
Pork chops, vegies, chicken, salmon, buffalo & turkey. Also, pies, cookies, cakes, & most desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Taking about 10 different pies & a cake to family Christmas celebration. I always brought all the desserts. Love a tradional turkey dinner, with Turkey, cornbread stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, peas, rolls, 5 cup salad and pumpkin pie!
My cooking triumphs
I make a mean (plain) potato salad that my brother-in-law raves about. My salmon is to die for and I make the best turkey burgers around.
My cooking tragedies
Only when I was first married. My husband likes to say I couldn't even boil water then!
