I was a little disappointed in the end result. I found it dry. I followed the recipe but used Ore Ida hash browns as suggested by others. The recipe did not suggest covering it with foil ~ maybe that might have helped. Also, I thought that maybe adding milk to the eggs would make it moister. Some of my family dipped it in ketchup or hot sauce to moisten it.

My family really enjoyed it! I cooked it on low for 8 hours in the crock pot and it was extra tender, just fell apart. I did add a package of beef gravy with water as suggested by others. As leftovers I served it on buns topped with horseradish sauce ~~~ excellent!
