I currently live in a Suburb of Dallas/Ft.Worth with my husband and two dogs. I love to cook and experiment with new tecniques and recipes. I like cooking dishes I grew up with and trying new ones that I can pass down to my children some day. I grew up in the midwest and was a meat and potato kind of girl. My family is mainly German so we had a lot of big meals My mom is a great cook and I grew up being around my great aunts who are great bakers of breads, rolls, cream pies. I have a few of the main dishes mastered but I am still working on the baking. No real tragedies but I like to make people happy with food so when I try something new and it doesnt turn out the way I want, it makes me dissapointed. I guess I need try them out for myself first before sharing with others!
