Guinness® Corned Beef

4 stars because the beef was wonderful, but the veggies came out horrible. Tasted completely like beer. Will make the beef in the beer and the veggies seperate. Live and learn.

Spanish Rice II

Skipped the peppers. Very tasty. Will make this one again. Simple and good. Switched the water with chicken broth and used bacon grease as suggested by other reviewers.

Fry Bread Tacos II

Lovely. This is the first thing that I have ever tried to fry. The instructions were very clear. Wait till the oil gets to the right temp for wonderful yummy goodness. I will be making this again. I can't wait to try it with ice cream.

Garlic Chicken

Really tasty. I smash my garlic so that I can remove it after it has flavored my oil. I dip my chicken in flour that has salt and peper before I dip the chicken in my garlic oil. I also add a pinch of cayanne to the bread crumbs.

Simple Turkey Chili

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I made this for Christmas. Everyone gathered around my crockpot and the conversations went totally silent. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. You should be able to get 3-4 little smokies per bacon slice depending on your bacon. Wrap them tightly and overlap them piercing throught the two ends to ensure that they don't come undone. I had 2 unwrap in about 2 pounds of little smokies.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

The meat was very tender. As others have stated the gravy can be improved. I can really taste the soup base. Husband liked it ok, but said flat out that there was much room for improvement. I will be looking for a new recipe. Something without condensed soup.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Just not for us. Tried it out, but my husband and I didn't like it. Pulsed it in the blender to get a smoother sauce, but even with some extra hot sauce in it my husband didn't want to eat it.

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Followed the instructions. Bread stuck to bottom of the baking sheet. Will grease it and use cornmeal just in case next time. Was not as wonderful as other reviewers raved about. It was missing something that the store bought bread has. **Note cut deeply. My bread rose in the oven and the slit closed on itself. If you think you cut too deep you might still not have cut deep enough.

Linda's Lasagna

I'm not a big fan of lasagna, but my husband is. I made this with the cottage cheese. I put the cottage cheese mixture through the food processor and pulsed a few times. It was wonderful and I will be making this little jewel again. Thanks tons!

Chewy Brownie Cookies

Not one of my favorite cookies. I brought it to a party and had mixed reviews. Some people loved the cookie to death while others were not thrilled by it at all. Made the cookies with the optional chocolate chips.
