My mother is a true culinary artist and although I was never allowed to enter her domain (the kitchen), I aspire to cook like her one day! Anything middle eastern! Of all the delicious things I love to cook (and eat), I still find middle eastern food the most challenging. I feel good cooking middle eastern foods because I know my family is benefiting from a healthy mediterranean diet! That's simple - I cook and the men in my house eat!! Hahaha. Every time I cook something that's edible, I feel like its a triumph! The first time I ever cooked, I tried to fry an egg - simple enough; except I had no idea how to do it and I burned it. Badly!
