Easiest Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
I Love this recipe as a mom on the go. I use a cheap round roast because there isn't much fat on it.(the crook pot does the job of keeping it tender.) I use the OXO beef stock low sodium powder. I also add Garlic and white wine for a little extra flavor. If i'm in a real hurry I will just cook a whole garlic bread in the oven and slice into desired size for sandwich. Sometimes I will slice onion and place them under the roast before cooking, It makes a great addition to top the beef dip with. This is a great recipe to try different things and extremely easly.

Strawberry Bread

great recipe, my whole family loves it. I didn't add the nuts, only because my kids go to a nut-free school. I will make again, but cook time for me was just over an hour. Maybe it's just my oven though.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe. I did only put a small amount of flour on my chicken after reading the suggestions. I was worried the sauce would be a little strong, but it was a perfect combination to the chicken. I served it with steamed baby potatoes and found the sauce was a great match with them.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
OMG, best recipe I've ever tried. I cut shallow slices in the fat and meat before I put the rub on. I kept in the fridge all morning until an hr prior to cooking. I cooked at 450 as well for the full 30 min. I also put a small amount of beef stock in the bottom of the pan. The roast had taken a extra 30 min to cook, I would differently recommend using a meat theom. I cooked it to 135 degrees and let rest for the last 15 min, the temp. raised to 145. I added more beef stock to the juices and tiny bit of red wine. I did thicken it a little bit and served it with yorkshire puddings on the prime rib. It was perfect, I will be making this recipe again. The flavor of the garlic went completely through the roast. Yum

loved it, I think this would also be a great base for clam chowder. I do recommend frying the ham up well first.

I really enjoyed this recipe, the only reason I give it 4 star is because it is almost to rich. My husband wasn't as crazy about them as I was.

Six Week Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
My husband really like this, I made them all some with frozen blueberries and raspberries, some plain and with cinnamon raisin. I put them in the deep freeze and would take acouple out every morning for lunches. I would have like something with more bran, this is a perfect recipe for people who don't like bran that much.

really good, pretty much the same as my banana bread recipe only the topping was different. The sugar topping isn't great for kids, it ended up off the muffin and all over the floor.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
I have to say I cook a great turkey to start with and was really excited to try this recipe. I did roast it and was wondering if I should still stuff it or if it would change the flavor, It did. The turkey was extemely tender and juicey(perfect) but the worchester sauce in the brine changed the flavor of my dressing. I will diffently brine again next time, but I think I will try the other recipe on this site. The ingredients will better suit stuffing.
