English Roast Beef

Very good recipe. Liked the mint and sage. The gravy was good, but I needed to add cornstarch to thicken it up a bit. It made the meat juicy and tender. The only thing was that I kept trying to add salt and the flavor would just not take it!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

My family RAVED about this recipe. We will be using this again! Followed the recipe exactly, using very juicy tomatoes and the sun-dried tomatoes in oil. Use slices of mozzarella cheese in the last 2 minutes of broiling to just get it melted enough. The juices were held inside by the cheese and squeezed out when you bit into it. AMAZING! I would give this six stars if I could!

Peachy Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

I really liked the caramel sauce. Followed it to a 't' and it was delicious :) Froze when I used it on ice cream... a light subtle sweetness, but it could have been a little more caramely :)

Jimmy Carter Dessert

This was a great treat :) I made it for my dad who is not a huge peanut butter fan and I was afraid that he wouldn't like it... the p.b. taste was just subtle enough for him! He loved it :)

Joy's Taco Salad

This was a delicious recipe!!! The only thing we changed was to add a little bit of skim milk to the dressing and a little bit more taco seasoning to the dressing. Great veggies though!!!

Nacho Cheese Sauce

It was great cheese to use for macaroni. We doubled the recipe and added half a taco seasoning packet and a slice of swiss cheese just to mix it up and it was delicious! Cheesy, smooth, and lovely! Would make it again for nachos, cheesy bread, or to put on fries or hot dogs.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Definitely cut down the sugar to 1/4 cup. My family loved this! We also added some cucumbers and pickle juice instead of relish. Added a bit of pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. The only thing that was weird for me was the red bell pepper... strange mix of flavors. BUT I took them out of my portion and it was awesome!

Raspberry Lemonade Pie

Ours DEFINITELY did not turn out right. We followed the recipe exactly and it was VERY VERY tart. Much too lemoney and it did not set right so even after 4 hours it was still fairly liquidy for some reason. I would recommend adding another cool whip to make it set better.

Balsamic Cream Sauce

This was awesome! I added a little extra balsalmic and chicken bouillon. Plus some milk and sour cream to make it a little creamier. I topped this on noodles with chicken and added peppers, green onions, celery, and tomatoes. Brilliant!

Honey-Mustard Beef Kabobs

Very good recipe. I used Deli-style mustard and I thought it was going to be too strong, but my family loved it! I will try it next time with a milder mustard.
