Any italian foods as well as gourmet dishes. Pan fried green beans with carmelized onions & italian bread crumbs. 1994 - Thanksgiving Dinner for the Ortega's & the Jalowka family. Total of 14 people. It doesn't seem like a challenge but I had to work on Thanksgiving Day so had to shop & prepare EVERYTHING the night before. Stayed up 48 hours straight. Worked the Day before, shopped & prepped all night long then went to work on Thanksgiving Day then came back home to finish making the feast. The turkey came out absolutely picture perfect! All of the side dishes were excellent and the homemade stuffing literally melted in your mouth. All of the onions & celery for the stuffing were meticulously diced by hand! My mouth is watering just thinking about that Thanksgiving Dinner!! I deep fried a turkey one year & it turned out okay. The biggest cooking tragedy was the year we spent $20,000 on an outdoor kitchen. I decided to cook the turkey on the rotisserie grill. The grill was installed & adjusted the day prior to Thanksgiving Day. I put the turkey on the rotisserie & went to take a shower expecting the turkey to be ready in 1 1/2 hours. When I went outside to check on the turkey & lifted the lid to the grill, the carcus was turning on the rotisserie and all of the meat had fallen off of the bones! The benefit was we did not have to carve the turkey that year!!
