I am a nurse and have always (until recently) had a very busy schedule. Meal times have been hectic and quich and easy have become my middle names. Comfort food and pies seem to be what I do best, but I'm not afraid to try something new. PIES! I love to bake. I especially love holiday foods. Cornbread Dressing (we don't call it stuffing where I'm from), Sweet Potato Casserole, Buttermilk, Chocolate, Pecan, Coconut Cream and Peanutbutter pies, Biscuits with sausage gravy, Peach Cobbler,Chicken & Dumplings and Chicken Enchiladas I love my mother's holiday candies...they're a tradition. And my bf's grandmother's homemade rolls are a new tradition. I learned to make bread from scratch and it was actually edible! Over the years there have been so many I couldn't even begin to name them all.
