Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak
I made this for a house full of family. All the plates were cleaned and the kids even ate it. The reason it got 4 stars, though, is I found it way too salty. Most in my family didn't agree, but I am sensitive to the salt. I increased the meat to 3# of meat, but still used just one packet of the onion soup mix - so I thought this would help decrease the salty taste. I would have enjoyed chopping fresh onions instead of the onion soup mix, I think. Or, next time I will try the potatoes that other viewers mentioned. I did increase the sauce, since I used 3# of meat. I had to mix both cr. of chicken and cr. of mushroom - since that was what was in the cupboard. I also added a small can of mushrooms and more water. The sauce was yummy.
