Pumpkin Gingerbread
This recipe had a great flavor...very spicy. However, I erronously followed advice from another reviewer. I sprinkled a sugar and spice mixture on the top before baking, which sounded like it would be yummy. However, I believe this caused the loaves to NOT rise during baking, which was a major disaster. Therefore, I cannot fault the recipe itself (since I willingly changed it). It tasted great, but obviously had the wrong texture. I am writing this review in hopes I may save someone else from making the same mistake.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies
These cookies taste good and stay soft...almost soggy after storing. However, they didn't look at all like the cookies pictured in the photo. They were flat and pliable in texture, instead of soft and puffy, (sort of bends rather than breaks) which is not what I had expected from the photo. I did follow some suggestions from other reveiwers though (orange juice instead of water, more ginger, and more flour). Maybe next time I will follow it exactly and see what happens. In all fairness, this review is written not for this recipe, but for the "modified version" of it.

Apple Crisp II
I have to say this apple crisp recipe is absolutely AWESOME! Tweak it however you like, but the base recipe itself is fantastic! Many thanks to the submitter!
