Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
For a non-baker like me, this was simple, delicious, hearty, moist, and just tasted healthy utilizing the bananas for sweetness rather than processed sugar like other bread recipes--AWESOME.

Loved this recipe...But, I realized why it's so good...2 1/4 cups of sugar!!! Who wouldn't like it?!

Aw-some Cole Slaw

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
Wow! This coleslaw WAS awesome! It has the perfect flavor of sweetness, creaminess, and tartness...and not overly thick w/ mayo. I used my own proportions and I didn't have lemon juice, so I used lime and it still turned out great--I got HUGE compliments for it at my party yesterday!

I loved this recipe so much that I am posting another review of 5 stars. I'm from an italian background and this is an amazing sauce for how easy it was to make. I've made others that were 2x the wrok and don't even compare..BRILLIANT recipe. Thank you.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
My husband and I loved this recipe. It was scrumptulescent! It was easier than other stuffed pepper recipes. I made the stuffing ahead of time, which was nice. I used ground pork instead of beef, and put shredded cheese(monterey jack & mozz) in the mixture as another reviewer recommended. I also put cherry tomatoes around the peppers in the pan, and they were a great, juicy addition. I didn't use worstershire, though..

Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
This soup was genius! Such a healthy, easy, yummy soup made with a handul of ingredients most of us have in the kitchen. I used fresh broccoli, a medium red potato, salt, a decent amount of pepper, and a tiny dash of nutmeg. I ALSO put gnocchi in the soup after it had been pureed and warmed on the stove. It was perfect. My 15 month old son who can't eat dairy loved it too! I also thought broccoli soup needed dairy, but not this recipe!

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Phenomenal Gumbo! we're stuck at home with a baby and unable to eat out. But this recipe was BETTER than a restaurant's version of gumbo. I am not a very great cook, but this recipe made me one. But, I used just about half of the chicken broth. Everything else, I followed to a 'T'. I cut the veggies like it said, made the roux for almost 20-30 minute to get that light caramel color. It was very spicy, but very delicious. You must try this!

Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I actually signed up for a membership just so that I could post my review on this recipe. It was tremendously delicious! My husband and I gobbled up these burgers like they were the last burgers on earth. I highly recommend topping them with guacamole. It cools off the chipotle. These burgers rocked!
