About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Stuffed Shells, Something new that I come up with is quickly becoming a favorite as I learn more and more about flavors and what I can play with putting together.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Aunt makes the family spaghetti. I tried for days to recreate it and finally broke down and called her, it's so easy but better than anyone else can make!
My cooking triumphs
Making dinner for my husband and I for the first time-it was the first time I cooked, ever! Starting to learn to cook things without relying on recipes, and altering recipes successfully
My cooking tragedies
First time I tried to cook without a recipe and just throw things together, piece of beef, refried beans, pineapple salsa and cheese all baked for a little while...horrible, but the dog loved it! While making my own rendition of a stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon broiled in the oven recipe, I caught the oven on fire. The chicken was excellent though!

Portabella Nirvana
Easy to make Easy ingredients Tasty finish Restaurant quality taste straight from my oven! The only issue I had was that it was SO RICH when I finished up. My husband doesn't like sea food so I probably won't make it again. It was good, just wasn't what I was looking to taste when I was finished up.

Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin With Apricot Ginger Glaze
This was very delicious. Took it to work and was a hit! Will make it again for my family.

Sunset Chicken
Made this for when some family came over, was a big hit! Then I took the left overs to work and shared; almost everyone wanted the recipe. My husband put it on the "make again" list
