I'm an old fashioned cook, with recipes from my mom and grandmother still in my recipe box and on my table. I love pasta but have a hard time finding really good satisfying meals from it esides spaghetti and meat. Thanksgiving and all the trimmings that go with it. Hawaiin chicken , a recipe from my mom's sister, my aunt, that has wowed people every single time I've made it, and it's so easy it's scary! I love yeast recipes for sweet rolls, but find it hard to get the knack of some of them. I'm trying an Easter bread recipe given to me by a friend who got it from an elderly neighbor. She would go over and watch her make it to learn how and I think I might have to do the same now with my friend, because my first try was not pretty!
