Better Than Best Fried Chicken

great fried chicken! i don't have a deep fryer, so i filled a wok with oil and fried over med-high heat. it took about 30 minutes to fry, but it was delicious

Ground Beef 'Wellington' with Fennel

ok so i've got this in the oven right now and from what i can tell so far, it smells good and looks like a meatloaf wrapped in pastry. not complaining, but can someone post a picture of this? even if you didn't like it could you please post so i can see what it looks like? also, the description says "with a hint of chile..." where is the chile? is it supposed to be the tiny bit of red pepper? i can already tell it needs more kick to it. going to add some cajun sunshine hot pepper sauce to it in about 25 minutes. sauce is a really good chicken marinade too!

Elaine's Sweet and Tangy Loose Beef BBQ

I cook it for 4 hours and add water 1/3 cup at a time to keep it moist. I don't drain the juice, but use it to make the sauce in the crock pot. I cook it for another 6 hours and it comes out perfectly every time!

I have tried all of the "stick together" tricks. They still don't stick together. I've made them 3 times and I guess it's not the charm. Never making them again.

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Great quick chicken recipe. I've tried it twice, once with the step-down temp. cooking and once at 350 for 2 hours. I'll stick with the 2 hours at 350. I tried the step-down last night and only half of the chicken was cooked at the end of the 60 min.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

I took the advice to use 1 can cream of mushroom, 1 can cream of chicken nad 1 can cream of cheddar. It was good, nothing fantastic, just good. It needs a lot more seasoning and flavor in general.

Three-Onion Pie with Feta or Goat Cheese

I thought there was a little too much in the recipe. I used 1/2 red onion and 1 white onion, parsley and a pinch of dill, a 9" deep dish pie crust, 3 eggs, and 6oz feta. I made it for the vegetarians, but had to make another one for the carnivores!

Moist Poultry Dressing

"Moist" is an understatement. I followed the advice of another not-so-thrilled cook and left the lid off of the crock pot for the last hour. STILL mushy. I won't use this again.

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

I wish I could give it 6 stars! I cook for 12 people every night at a whitewater rafting outpost, so cheap and easy is what I look for. I've made it 6 hours before serving and 15 minutes before serving. Both tasted great! The guys ask for it EVERY week. This will be week 5...I use 1 package of shredded cabbage and 1 package of shredded carrots. See, I told you it was all about quick! Thanks for the recipe!!!
